Seeing America in a cute little car.

After vacationing two years in Europe I have decided it's time to see America. The western portion at least. In my 46 years I haven't seen much of the left coast. On 16 August 2008 the lovely Christina Deming and I will be departing on a two week tour in my Mini Cooper. So far we don't have an itinerary but ultimately we will end up in San Fransisco to visit my Uncle John, his lovely wife Heather, Grace (the above average) and Russelly Russel. Must sees are Mt Rushmore, Crazy horse, Yellowstone, Redwood Forest. The rest is still yet to be determined. Since we don't have the luxury of a ton of time, we are going to see what we can, but I'd rather see a few things well then a lot of things just to say I saw them.

Like I said...we are still up in the air.

Plan on Some camping and some hotels. Free rooms at Casa de Alger in San Francisco will be nice. Gonna see China Town, Fisherman's Wharf and we might even take a fishing charter out for a day. Also anything the Uncle John might suggest.

Hey David,

Our house is not called Casa de Alger, it's known as The Alger Ranch. If you want to stay with us you'll have to get it right. Okay? Looking forward to your visit. It's good your car is red because we'll let you park it in the driveway that way. Going out to start a 3 week lawn manicure program before your arrival so everthimg will look real nice for Christina. Will also stock up on tofu and organic cheeses made by hemp-wearin' Marin granola crunchers. Oh yeah, I'll get lots of granola too. We'll have so much fun!
